![]() Hint: There are no shenanigans necessary to get the cube.Hint: Just like the last chamber… you don’t need another Aerial Faith Plate, since you already have one in the present.Hint: There are portal-able surfaces on both of the ledges with the Thermal Discouragement Beam Emitters.Don’t worry, you have another one in the present. Hint: The future Aerial Faith Plate is disabled.Hint: Good news: normal portals aren’t affected by Time Portal Activation Grills. Now figure out what to do with the other three. Hint: Notice that there are four angled panels in this room. The two points being, the second Thermal Discouragement Beam Relay and the second Thermal Discouragement Beam Receptacle. Hint: A straight line can be formed from two points.Hint: There is a portal-able surface behind the first Thermal Discouragement Beam Relay. You must use them both to get to the Discouragement Redirection Cube. Hint: There are two Thermal Discouragement Beams.Hint: The Material Emancipation Grill should be a non-issue since you have time portals.Hint: This puzzle can be solved with just Thermal Discouragement Beams aligned along the basic cardinal directions (ie.Hint: Your portals in the future are necessary here.Good, otherwise you would not be able to solve this puzzle. Hint: Thermal Discouragement Beams travel through time portals.Hint: The only situation where you need to hold the future cube is when you move it to the button that opens the exit. ![]() But maybe there’s something else that needs a bit of good timing. This is completely redundant and has nothing to do with the puzzle. Hint: Look at the blue clock next to the button, which ticks down after you press it.Hint: After pressing the first two buttons, travel to the future… then back again to get to the third button. So you need to be quick! Well… not really, if you have your portals in the right place. Hint: There’s not a portal-able surface on the ledge with the button, but you don’t need one there to travel between timelines easily. They give great indication on what you are supposed to do. Hint: Not enough momentum? Using three portals instead of two may help in gaining some more.Hint: Use portals in the future to relocate yourself without moving portals in the present.Hint: Moving through a Material Emancipation Grill in the future does not affect your portals in the present, but not the other way around. Then use the angled platform to launch yourself to the exit platform (still in the future) and from there shoot your time portal where the bottom of the infinite fall was to get both cubes to despawn opening the exit. then go by the button and set up the infinite fall on the cube so that you can catch it and put it on the button. Was wondering what it meant by that.Īlternatively, you can set the present cube in the center where you setup infinite fall, leave it there and go to the future. I solved it a different way and the game told me I was supposed to do something else. Pick up present cube to destroy future cube and unlock the door. In present, set yourself on the infinite fall and then time the portal shot at the incline to launch to exit. Place the time portal at the floor under platform and then jump up and off into it - this should get you enough to land on the present side platform with the button and cube - but even if you don't make it, you basically want to do similar steps above to get future cube on present button. You will get to where the button is, but here you want to be able drop the portal just under the platform so you can grab the cube. Go to future, reset cube with button, and get it all set up for the same infinite fall. Get yourself up to the top area where the button is, set up the cube to infinitely fall, step on button, and launch the cube to the exit area.
